Valve Is Asking Players To Help Update Mann vs. Machine In Team Fortress 2
Maps and missions are needed – or at least wanted.
Valve is apparently looking for a little help updating some old Team Fortress 2 content. (Either that or they just felt like it’s a good day for story time.) In a post on Steam, the devs dropped a post discussing “Mann vs. Machine,” a story released in the team shooter a little over a decade ago. The post tells a new story about the content, which it’s getting a “much-needed update”, and how they’re asking the community to submit maps and missions.
Here’s the catch: as the update is planned to release sometime around Halloween, they need the submissions a bit sooner, say… August 27. So, those interested might want to start work on their submissions now. As for the content, the post waffles a bit on this, but just go with it doesn’t have to be Halloween-themed despite the release date. That is, unless you really want it to be.
