VK Sells My.Games – Allods Online, Warface, Skyforge, Armored Warfare...All Of It
The Skyforge publisher sold for $642 million.
As of this past week, VK Company no longer owns Skyforge developer and publisher My.Games as they’ve sold it for $642 million USD. Unlike many game developer sales, this one was for the entirety of My.Games. The company, also responsible for Allods Online, is now owned by Alexander Chachava, the managing partner of LETA Capital. That includes all assets, internal studios, and game products.
As LETA Capital is a venture capital firm, it’s difficult to determine what – if any – impact this sale will have on the company, which is made up of dozens of development studios, thirteen offices globally, and a team of game specialists. Fans of games like Warface and Left to Survive, among others, will just have to wait and see.
