Warframe Makes Its First Moves Onto Mobile With An iOS Version
Now, you can take your Tenno on the go.
Warframe players with iOS devices can now take the shooter with them wherever they go thanks to the launch of the game on the App Store. Digital Extremes partnered with Nitro Games to bring the game to mobile devices, offering existing players a way to take the game with them and those who may not have tried out the game because they prefer to play on mobile devices a way to join in. Nitro Games worked to make Warframe’s gameplay and world fit with touchscreen controls and are looking forward to feedback from players in order to continue to improve it.
To get mobile players rolling in the game, Digital Extremes will provide them with a new Starter Weapon Pack including the Aeolak primary weapon, a Maxed Serration Mod, and 100 Platinum. Players on other platforms can purchase the pack if they want it. In addition, a day-one log-in reward will be granted to all players – a Bombyx Syandana and a 3-day Affinity booster.
The download is approximately 10 GB.
For those who prefer Android devices over Apple devices, don’t worry, a version of the game will be making its way to you later this year.
