Warframe's Next Update Is The Sacrifice
That mysterious dark Warframe artwork from a few days ago got a little less mysterious today with the announcement of The Sacrifice, the new expansion for Digital Extremes' free-to-play online game. Billed as "the greatest Warframe test of all," The Sacrifice was teased in a trailer from nearly a year(!) ago and will go live on the game's servers later in June.
The story-based update requires players to complete several previous quests, but Digital Extremes is trying to make that a little easier with a quest guide on the website to help players catch up. Other than that, there aren't too many details on exactly what Tenno will be doing in the update, but players on all platforms can pick up a free Orokin Tea Set Decoration for your Orbiter and a three-day Affinity Booster by entering the code "OLDFRIEND." More will likely be revealed throughout the month on the Sacrifice web page.
(And if the players profiled in the trailer video below are any indication, the major "sacrifice" they've made to Warframe so far is the bulk of their free time.)
