WildStar Closing Nov. 28, Grants Everyone Signature Status And Refunds Recent Purchases
WildStar is down to the final two months of its life. Carbine Studios has announced that the MMORPG will be closing its doors on Nov. 28, 2018. In the days leading up to the sad event, remaining players will be able to enjoy a number of benefits and perks, as detailed in a (final?) blog post.
Notably, every player will be granted Signature (subscription) status, and Double XP, Glory Days, Power Prestige and PvP, and Blessing of Essence will be in effect until the shutdown. Protobucks are being converted to Omnibits at a 1:1 ratio, and the store is full of seasonal and Signature items. From a monetary standpoint, all purchases made after July 1 will be refunded, while C.R.E.D.D. balances will be converted to NCoin.
There's a lot more to parse through for WildStar fans. In addition to the blog post, Carbine's also written up a "Signing Off FAQ," if you need more detailed answers.
