World of Tanks Wolfenstein

World of Tanks has announced a crossover event with the Wolfenstein franchise, launching October 2 and running through October 13. It features an alternate-history battle alongside William J. Blazkowicz and his Resistance allies. Players of the free-to-play shooter can earn exclusive rewards such as Wolfenstein-themed crew members, tank customization options, decals, and a new vehicle: the Zwilling, the first German Tier VIII double-barreled heavy tank in the game.

The Zwilling was seized from the Regime and repurposed by the Resistance. It boasts twin cannons that can fire devastating salvos or precise single shots, supported by durable armor and strong mobility. Its design reflects Wolfenstein’s aesthetic, complete with angular plates, Resistance trophies like the Panzerhund head, and the “Götterfaust” 3D style.

Another highlight is the addition of fully voiced Wolfenstein characters as crew members. Through progression, players can recruit William J. Blazkowicz and his nemesis, Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse, while themed bundles unlock allies Anya Oliwa and Caroline Becker, as well as villain Frau Engel. Each comes with voiceovers from their original actors and varying perk levels.

Completing the event Battle Pass 40 progression stages rewards players with Blazkowicz as a commander, Strasse as a crew member, and other Wolfenstein-inspired cosmetics. Special bundles and combat missions offer more themed rewards.
