World Of Warcraft’s Arena World Championship Has Returned, This Time In Dragonflight
The Evoker class will be joining the ranks for the very first time.
World of Warcraft is welcoming back the Arena World Championship (AWC) for its 16th year. Eight teams from around the globe will compete for their share of a $400,000 prize pool. The 2023 Dragonflight Season 1 AWC starts on January 20-22. Fans can tune in to both YouTube and Twitch and watch all four Cups to see which teams will continue in the tournament.
These Cups will present a variety of new additions to the Arena World Championship, including both The Nokhudon Proving Grounds and, for the first time ever, Evokers will be entering the competition. Players will be battling for both the champion of their series and the clan’s greatest warrior in The Nokhudon Proving Grounds.

Format:
Double elimination, Best of 5 Players who would like to join AWC are in luck as registration is still open for AWC Cups 2-4.
Players who join will then have a chance to earn the new Thundering Banner of the Aspects. This in-game item will be rewarded to any AWC team that competes in a full AWC Cup. Interested players can sign up now on GameBattles for the next tournament.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
