World of Warships: Legends Rings In The Holidays With Legendary Ships
Earn HMS Minotaur and HMS Lion, and rent out a dozen Legendary-tier ships.
Late December is the time for fireworks -- no, wait, that's early July. Nevertheless, explosions will abound in this year's festive events for World of Warships: Legends, as the massive Legendary-tier British cruiser HMS Minotaur, attainable via the six-week Theseus’ Bane campaign. You can also pick up the Tier VII Premium battleship HMS Lion by spending Winter Coins you earn by completing missions and tasks and competing in Arena seasons.
If you're looking to rent, not buy, you have the option of spending credits to try out 12 Legendary-tier ships. These are available in three groups of four, each spanning two weeks and running until January 31.
Cosmetic upgrades are another way to deck your halls this season. Commander guises are "special visual effects that can be equipped to players’ ships, such as bright shell traces, fireworks, and signal fires when honking the horn." Examples include "Miss Santa" (for American and British commanders) and "Snow Maiden" (for Soviet and European commanders) and they're available in the store. There's also a new festive London port, and the Holiday Bureau project, which offers various prizes, including permanent camoflages for select ships.
Learn more about everything included in this holiday update on the World of Warships: Legends website.
