Zenless Zone Zero Launches On Xbox Series X|S Alongside Season 2 Update

Today – or rather last night, depending on your time zone – HoYoverse dropped the Season 2 update for the free-to-play action RPG Zenless Zone Zero. The new season marks not only the continuation of the game’s story in a new place, but also its first anniversary. To help players celebrate, HoYo is offering players all kinds of free goodies, including a free S-Rank Agent and an S-Rank W-engine of their choice. In both cases, there are six items to choose from. So, choose wisely. Players will also receive 1,600 Polychromes and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes for completing certain tasks in the update.

As for the update itself, it takes Wise and Bell to the Waifei Peninsula, where they will pose as students of the mystic Yixuan from Ynkui Summit as they take on a mission from the mayor of New Eridu. Okay, the student thing isn’t entirely for cover. The siblings will be learning to control their newly-found powers as well.

The other big news that comes as part of this update is that the Xbox Series X|S version is now live. The game is also available via Xbox Cloud Gaming. So, if you’ve been waiting to grab ZZZ on your Xbox console, now is the time.
