Genshin Impact Archon

One of the great things about video games with lots of characters is that there’s generally someone for everyone. Genshin Impact is one of those games that has a lot of characters for players to love, so of course people have to pit them against each other – especially the Archons. While there are technically seven Archons living in Teyvat, players have only met four of them so far. Venti, Zhongli, The Raiden Shogun, and Nahida all represent different countries in Teyvat inspired by places in the real world.

Recently a poll asked Japanese players who their favorite Archon is and, honestly, the answer isn’t all that shocking. As mentioned, each region in the game is inspired by real-world regions. Mondstadt is basically Europe, Liyue is based on China, Inazuma is based on Japan, and Sumeru is inspired by rain forests and deserts, mostly likely in South America.

Fans of the game have known for some time that Chinese players hold a special place in their hearts for Zhongli, the Archon of Liyue, so it’s probably no surprise that Japanese players are partial to the Raiden Shogun.

Of course, regional inspiration may not be the only reason players love the Raiden Shogun. She’s a pretty solid choice in combat as well.

They should do that in Europe and see how barely anyone actually votes for Mondstadt.

Just wanted to point something out: Sumeru is based in arabia and india, forests and desert can be found in both also the enemies in the desert looks like the hashashin from old arabia and persia plus most of the ppl in Sumeru wear cloths that look like old arabia style and one last thing the battle tunes are mostly a mix of arab and india tunes.....the nation of Natlan might be based in South America ;)
