Albion Online’s “Realm Divided” Update Transforms Faction Warfare This November
The update introduces strategic provinces, fortress sieges, and new systems.

Albion Online’s next major content update, "Realm Divided," arrives on November 24 — bringing significant overhauls to the sandbox MMORPG’s Faction Warfare system. Developer Sandbox Interactive revealed that this update will completely reshape how players engage in large-scale territorial battles across the Royal Continent, creating a more strategic and dynamic world where every action influences the outcome of the ongoing war.
Realm Divided introduces new Provinces, which divide the Royal Continent into strategic regions that define the flow of conflict and give players clear objectives. Each Faction Fortress serves as a stronghold for its faction, becoming the site of massive sieges that can determine control of entire territories. Players will also gain access to Faction Transports, a system designed to move combatants quickly across the map to active battlefronts, ensuring that the action remains fast-paced and accessible.

There are also Faction Camps and Faction Chests, which provide spontaneous skirmishes and lucrative rewards for players who explore or take risks in contested zones. The update introduces new vanity items too.
Realm Divided includes major improvements to the new player experience as well, plus a variety of UI updates and quality-of-life features.
