Aniimo Announces Upcoming Closed Beta Test At The Game Awards
Signups are open now.

During this evening’s The Game Awards show, Kingsglory and Pawprint Studios announced a new global beta test for its free-to-play critter-catching RPG, Aniimo. This will be the game’s second closed beta test, so it's safe to say that if you’ve already participated, you’re probably good. For everyone else, you’ll want to head to the game’s official site and fill out the form to sign up. There will be a general questionnaire, and at the end, you’ll need to provide some details on your computer – the general stuff, GPU and CPU, and the like.
We don’t have a precise date for the test just yet. All we know is that it will take place in early 2026. That said, the trailer did show off some new critters, such as the Fentuft and their evolved form Fenmane.
If you’re unfamiliar with Aniimo, one of its defining mechanics is something called “Twining,” which allows players to take on the form of any Aniimo. That includes the new creatures being introduced. In addition to creature collecting, the game offers various social features, including a campground full of RVs where players gather. Players also use these RVs to access something known as the “Homeland”, an area that serves both as an amusement park for Aniimo and a farming area for players.
