Apex Legends Mobile Is Ready For A Global Release This Month
Players are no longer limited to console and PC as they can now be the champions from their very own mobile devices.
May has arrived and with it will be the global release of Apex Legends Mobile. Players can now take the battle royale action on the go with this new release. Apex Legends Mobile is being developed by a team at Respawn in conjunction with Tencent’s Lightspeed & Quantum Studios, which is actually the same group of developers behind PUBG Mobile.
Apex Legends will continue to be free-to-play even for their mobile title. It will however, have its own battle passes, collectible cosmetics, and unique unlockable items. The game will start with 10 Legends, favorites like Wraith, Octane, Bloodhound, and Pathfinder will be there from the beginning. Apex Legends Mobile’s Design Director, Jordan Patz, mentioned that this game is being built from the ground up, “with mobile-first optimizations and mobile exclusive content to make sure that the game feels like Apex while also fresh and new at the same time.” Players who are skeptical over a mobile release might not have to worry, as it seems a lot of thought and planning has gone into the games mechanics.
In addition to existing game modes like Battle Royale and Ranked, Patz said Apex Legends Mobile will also include mobile exclusive game modes. If you would like to read more about what was said during the panel regarding Apex Legends Mobile, please check out the article on VGC’s site.
