Black Desert

Pearl Abyss’ Black Desert first launched in South Korea in 2014 and is now played in over 150 countries with over 50 million registered players worldwide. In addition to this momentous milestone, Pearl Abyss is also celebrating its 12th anniversary this month and is giving players, new and old alike, one week of free play in Black Desert Online.

Starting from today at 10 AM PDT until 10 AM PDT on September 19, players can join Black Desert Online for free on Steam and get in on all the action.

“We are very proud and thankful that our Black Desert franchise has managed to reach so many players across the globe, and we feel humbled by the positive support we received from our community,” said CEO of Pearl Abyss, James Heo. “We will strive relentlessly to improve Black Desert and build on our success with new IP that are currently being developed using brand new technical facilities and are running on our proprietary BlackSpace Engine.”

To any fans of Pearl Abyss who will find themselves at this year's TwitchCon San Diego, Black Desert will also be in attendance.
