Blue Protocol's Latest Video Offers Players A Peek At Character Creation
It seems pretty robust for an anime-styled game.
One of the most important aspects of MMOs is being able to create a character that is uniquely you as possible – within the confines of the game’s system, of course. When a new game is on the horizon, it’s always good to see how character creation is going to work. In the case of Bandai Namco’s Blue Protocol, it looks like they’re all about those sliders. Although, there are some base appearance options that can just be selected.
A trailer posted earlier today shows players a bit of character creation in action. It’s only a minute long – and we know a lot of people can spend a whole day in character creation depending on the system, so we expect it doesn’t show everything. What it does show is a weight/build slider (along with the obligatory boob slider).
They also appear to have a slider for skin tone. It looks like players will need to choose one of the preset options and adjust from there, but the point is that players should be able to refine it to their liking more easily. Basically, it looks like the system consists of picking a preset and using sliders to adjust for everything, including eye shape. See for yourself in the video below.
