Celebrate Halloween In Dead By Daylight With the Haunted Event, Imagine That!

Get ready to embrace the horror in Dead by Daylight. On October 13 the Haunted by Daylight event will kick off, offering players all kinds of spooky goodies for the taking. Of course, players will have to work for these cosmetics by taking on event challenges…and surviving in the Fog, which has also taken on a more unsettling atmosphere. Not that it matters to actual gameplay, but players will also see spiffy Halloween decorations in the game’s loading screens. As for the gameplay, a new mode will require players to gather “Void Energy”. And, of course, there will be daily login rewards.

The Halloween event will last until November 3. In the middle of the event, between October 27 and November 1, the developer will be hosting a free weekend, which means even those who don’t play the game can experience the event if they like.

In other news, on October 12, a new Tome will be released, featuring Ghost Face and Mikaela Reid. This tome will allow players to explore Ghost Face's memories and discover what makes him tick. They’ll also get a peek at Mikaela’s past.
