Celebrate The Lunar New Year In Guild Wars 2 And You Could Sport Some Great Looking Gear

It's time to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Guild Wars 2. Players can head over to Divinity's Reach to join the celebration and earn some pretty cool looking weapons from the new Fortunate weapon collection and a Dragon Descendant's Helm. You can also pick up a dragon-themed backpack, and open Luck Envelopes for a chance to find a Lucky Great Dragon Lantern. These envelopes are affected by your account's magic find attribute.

To get started, just head over to Divinity's Reach in the MMORPG and speak to the Celestial Challenge Attendant in the Crown Pavilion to take part in the Celestial Challenge. It's a series of activities that will require you to take down enemies, race through checkpoints, perform feats of jumping mastery, and more. The more you do, the more rewards you'll receive.

Guild Wars 2 players can also enter the Dragon Ball Arena where they can play PvP dodgeball. Collect 500 points to achieve victory.

There will, of course, be mount racing, as well as a Firecracker Lighting challenge where you race through the streets to light firecrackers using any mounts or abilities you can to make it through in time.

It all starts today and runs through February 20th in Guild Wars 2.
