Celebrate The New Year In Genshin Impact During The Fleeting Colors In Flight Event
It’s about time for the Lantern Rite to begin.
It’s time to head to Liyue and celebrate the Lantern Rite festival in Genshin Impact’s annual event. The whole thing kicks off tomorrow as Fleeting Colors in Flight launches, bringing not just the Lantern Rite to Teyvat’s city of commerce, but also some new activities and goodies – like the ability to craft and launch your own fireworks.
The fireworks are part of the Flameplume Starflowers event, in which players can obtain a launch tube and use it to craft fireworks, modifying them to fit specific criteria. Use different smelting techniques, adjust the firepower, and make the perfect fireworks. At the end of the event, you’ll obtain fireworks and keep the launch tube gadget. However, the tube will only keep the modification and launching functions.
Another new addition is The Great Gathering event which finally brings the Waverider to Liyue – specifically the Guyun Stone Forest – for a limited time. Use the Waveriders to salvage items, destroy treasure hunter camps, and more, then turn the items in for rewards, including new recipes and special talismans that can be exchanged in the event shop.
As for rewards, there are new types of furniture and decorations for the teapot. All of them are Liyue-themed and several are filled with pretty lanterns.
