Chivalry 2’s Winter War Update Kicks Off New Battlepass, Introduces New Objective Map
The new update is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Today, Torn Banner Studios dropped a new update for Chivalry 2 across all available platforms, adding plenty of new content to the game. Winter War is a big update, introducing a new object map, a new VIP, weapons, a Christmas event, and the game’s first-ever Campaign Pass. The new Campaign Pass offers players a chance to obtain rewards ranging from currency to armory items. Of course, there’s a premium version for players who would like a bit extra.
The new map, Assault on Thayic Stronghold, is set in a new winter biome. The Masons are laying siege to the Stronghold in an attempt to kill King Argon II. Of course, Argon and the Agathian Knights are well-defended, so this will not be an easy task.
Speaking of King Argon II, this is the game’s new VIP. If his Knights cannot stop the Masons from capturing the stronghold, a new player will take up the mantle and lead the Knights until dethroned.
As mentioned, the update includes other content, as well, including the new Quarterstaff weapon and a winter Christmas event that will last until January 5.
