They all throw things that impale or explode, or both.

Conquerors Blade Outriders

The new season of Conqueror's Blade is underway, bringing with it a trio of new units for warlords to recruit, highlighted in a feature video today from Booming Tech and My.Games. The story of Season IX: Tyranny revolves around players rising up against a powerful warlord "to liberate the Borderlands and stop the world from falling into tyranny."

The three units up for grabs in the new season are the three-star Outriders, a cavalry unit that uses explosive throwing spears(!); the four-star Axe Raiders, who fling their woodcutting tools on the battlefield; and five-star Shenji Grenadiers, with their firearms and bombs. In short, you don't want to get within throwing distance of any of these new units.

In addition to the new units, Conqueror's Blade's signature land-claiming battles, Territory Wars, are getting an overhaul for the new season. High-Prestige player Houses now have the authority to lead their forces into battle, and their ranks can be more easily tracked. NPC Houses, a.k.a. imperial cohorts, have also seen some changes in how they operate, all of which can be gleamed from the recent article on the CB site.
