DC Universe Online Offers Behind-The-Scenes Look At Upcoming Spooky Update, Day Of Reckoning
The update changes up how DCUO does storytelling.
On January 28, DC Universe Online will drop the Day of Reckoning content update. The new story content will introduce a spooky new area to the superhero MMORPG as players try to solve a mystery. To set things up for players, the developers have been sharing information via blog posts. Currently, three posts are available on the game’s site.
Today, the devs shared a bit about the development process of Day of Reckoning in a short behind-the-scenes video. The video features Creative Director Al Rivera and Art Director Scot Boyd who offer insight into the creative decisions that make the update what it is – addressing everything from story decision to choosing a snowy environment for the story to take place in.
