When players logged in to Guild Wars 2 yesterday, they were hoping to tackle the latest episode of the game's Living Story. Unfortunately, a lot of players ended up running into some game breaking bugs instead.
Players began posting about their issues on Reddit after attempting to play the new content and running into a variety of problems such as network errors upon login and game crashes. (The only fun to be had here is that the NPCs seem to be almost aware of the issues and to be commenting on them -- generally just before the error occurs.)
The good news is that ArenaNet is aware of the issues and already hard at work on them. As of today, they've dropped a new build that corrects some of the issues -- although not all -- but they assure players that they're continuing to work on the issues and will post another update tomorrow morning to keep them abreast of things.
Unfortunately for players, some still aren't able to play. So, they are understandably becoming pretty frustrated.
