EDIT: It appears Sony just announced the NA version of Dragon’s Prophet would begin it’s closed beta at the same time as the EU.

Those of us in the NA region more often than not have the luxury of getting every beta before our EU counterparts. However with Dragon’s Prophet, it seems as if the shoe is now on the other foot. Europeans rejoice! Infernum, the EU publishers for the upcoming dragon-collecting MMO Dragon’s Prophet have announced the game’s closed beta start date. The limited closed beta is set to begin this upcoming Tuesday, March 19th. Those that have already managed to secure a key will be able to login and experience the game’s initial four zones.

Unfortunately it doesn’t appear many individuals will be able to get into the initial closed beta, but Infernum promises there will be further opportunities to play the game during upcoming stress tests allowing the developers to test the stability and performance of its EU based servers. Infernum says they will give players enough of a heads up to ensure they don’t miss the opportunity to try out the MMO. The devs also stressed that player feedback on the forums will be crucial for the game improvement team, helping to ensure that the next steps for Dragon’s Prophet are as smooth as possible.

Dragon’s Prophet is being published in NA regions by Sony who are also releasing the closed beta on March 19th You can sign up for the EU betahere or the NA beta here. You can also improve your chances at getting beta access by sharing your own referral link found on the signup page.

  1. Nowadays more and more games tend to unload high configurations yet I still feel tired of them! However Age of Wushu is an exception…it’s a featured sandbox!

  2. Everyone is yelling at this point. It’s dangerous. Hope it will present a new appearance and new experience just as Age of Wushu does.

  3. @BrandNewDaddy : It’s because its still in CBT…. you can comment it on their forum… they say they will change everything that they need to based on players advice or opinion combined.

@MMOBOMB : See you at first look Spunkify~ or whoever doing the first look ._.

  4. Uhg another themed mmo with flying mounts. the environmental graphics look nice, kinda like Perfect world and other games from PWI…but once again the npc and player avatar animations are crap…I am tired of half rate games like this, why can these companies not spend time to perfect everything, because once it releases, all they are going to update is content, not the core game(and if they do its going to be once every6-9 months) I think I will pass on this, SOE has had good games in the past, but I think I will stick to PS3 based RPGs, I am tired of the MMO community, plenty of children and older children(yes man children) who ruined the titles for me.
Hopefully we will get a first look and they will have “polished” the mechanics of the game.

  5. Well thats nice i hope i get a beta key i have registered to their page for some time now if not i’ll just wait for ob i quess its not like i can do anything else

    • same though its kinda weird to hear about those games shuting down and then all these new obt games comeing up makes you wonder if are free to play moddle is rilly in any danger?

      • Well games come and go just like people get born and die i quess its natural and its until u get used to it maybe i’m going too far by comparing f2p mmos with people but oh well

      • The F2P market isn’t really in danger. The games that are closing isn’t a natural process of life like Zhao Yun here says, its because they have bad F2P/cash shop models which don’t help them get new/more players nor earn enough revenue. Any F2P game that works on pay to win or pay to get all content is destined to die now, especially with successes like Path of Exile, City of Steam, Firefall, etc showing people how a cash shop should work.

  6. Well in fact informations here are WRONG, coz CBT will start yes in EU 19th March, however ALSO in NA beta will start same day so…

  7. Been waiting for this game for some time now. Really curious to see if it’s any good. It’s sad that to have a higher chance of getting into beta you have to refer people.
I hope mmobomb will get some keys for us.
