First Major Update Announced For Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis
“Sandstorm Requiem” will go live in December.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’s first big update is on its way. Scheduled to arrive next month, “Sandstorm Requiem” will send players to the desert of Retem with Aina and Manon. Get ready for a shift in scenery as you explore an area filled with rocky terrain, sand dunes, and canyons – with weather and vegetation to match. Oh…and new enemies.
The update will introduce a level cap increase to 35, which means every class gets a shiny new class skill. These are:
- Hunter Class – Sword Arts Change Avenger
- Fighter Class – Dagger Spin Axle
- Ranger Class – Spread Shot Wide Range
- Gunner Class – Rising Drive
- Force Class – Technique Domination
- Techter Class – Overemphasis
- Braver Class – Brave Spirit
- Bouncer Class – Blade Arts Parry
New elemental techniques are being added as well, doubling the number to six. Wind, Light, and Dark join Fire, Ice, and Lightning. Finally, the update also introduces a title system for all of you who’d like to show off your achievements.
