TiMi Studio Group has unveiled the return of the first-person shooter series, Delta Force, with Delta Force: Hawk Ops. This new installment will offer cross-platform gameplay between players on console, PC, and mobile. Players can choose from four Operator classes, each offering unique abilities for different tactical approaches.

The game introduces three distinct modes. "Campaign Mode - Black Hawk Down" reenacts the Mogadishu battle and includes characters from the movie as well as a remastered version of the original Delta Force: Black Hawk Down game. "Extraction Mode - Hazard Operations" involves tactical combat against AI-controlled enemies and random events on a vast map. "Large-Scale PvP Mode - Havoc Warfare has players engage in grand-scale battles with military vehicles and more.

“Delta Force is one of the most iconic, original games in FPS history and it will soon be time for this fantastic series to return for players on all devices - console, mobile or PC - to play,” TiMi J3 studio general manager Leo Yao said. “We believe we’ve honored the original series while creating a modern, tactical, operator-based game to be enjoyed by players worldwide, of all skill levels, for many years to come.”

The announcement was already teased in the past, but now came with an unveiling trailer during Gamescom 2023 — marking the first Delta Force title since 2009. The game's development team, named "Jade Team," draws on global expertise in creating popular PC games, with Yao, a key figure behind successes like Call of Duty: Mobile and CrossFire Mobile, leading the FPS-focused unit. Further details about Delta Force: Hawk Ops, including its lore set on a North African island with elite mercenaries, tribal guards, and advanced AI technology, will be showcased at the "Into the Infinite: A Level Infinite Showcase" today at 1 PM EST.
