Genshin Fontain Leak

Genshin Impact leaks aren't rare, but 9 months of updates released early is not a mere leak, that is–what the Genshin community has dubbed–a ‘tsunami’. Shortly after the 3.2 livestream a large batch of data covering everything from update 3.3 through the release of Fontaine, the next region planned for update 3.8 around July 23, had been leaked. This data leak involves characters and their respective visions, their elemental skills, and even upcoming weapons. The leak is huge, and while some are excited to know what is to come so they can properly save their primos for the event banner, others are disappointed as Twitter has become a minefield of leaked data that some would like to keep secret.

Genshin had another major leak around their 1.5 update and HoYoverse quickly cracked down on leakers. Despite these leaks, dates are likely to change and who knows how HoYoverse will respond to this large data leak.

One major issue that came with this batch of revealed data is that there seems to also be leaked files that contain user data for multiple HoYoverse QA testers. Because of this, many popular Genshin leakers have decided to delete content that they may have originally posted.

“After further consideration with friends, I decided to remove ALL my tweets from today just to be safe,” explained UBatcha, a popular Genshin leaker. “To make it clear, I do not condone whatever methods in which the data was obtained and I was not involved in obtaining nor distributing the original data.” The user then went on to explain that “Leaking from a beta is not the same as obtaining data which includes employee information. I don't want to be pinned as being involved in obtaining the latter. If you don't understand the difference, Idk what to tell you.”
