GW2 Steam

Guild Wars 2 has finally arrived on Steam today, becoming the first time the game has ever been on a third-party platform. Coming with the launch is a content bundle with ten years of GW2 content, a twitch drop campaign, and the 10th Anniversary Event.

The Guild Wars 2 Complete Collection content bundle is now available on Steam for $99.97. With it, players can experience the first ten years of Guild Wars 2, including the Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, End of Dragons expansion, and all five seasons of the episodic Living World. For anyone willing to commit, that's quite a lot of content to keep you busy until the end of next year.

ArenaNet has also begun their Twitch Drops and the beginning of their first rewards campaign from today to August 28 at 11:59 p.m. Universal Central Time. Players can earn in-game rewards, such as a "Total Makeover" Kit or "Glowing Purple Mask," by watching the Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel. All players need to do is link their Twitch account with their Guild Wars 2 account, log in to Twitch, and click the "Drops Enabled" tag while the campaign is live.

Additionally, the 10th Anniversary Event launched today with the Steam release, bringing a series of new achievements across all levels of content/expansions. Completing these challenges will earn players Proofs of Legend, which are tradable for the new Decade's armor set. For those who have stuck around for ten years, ArenaNet is gifting dedicated fans an extra Proof of Legend to kickstart their collection. For more information, check out the GW2 site.
