Hearthstone Goes To Space In The Great Dark Beyond Expansion

Hearthstone has expanded its horizons in the most literal sense with the launch of The Great Dark Beyond expansion. The new expansion introduces the new “Starship” keyword to the card game, along with Starship Piece cards. When these cards die, their stats and effects are used in Starship construction. Once built, the ship goes directly to the board. The ship’s appearance is decided by class: Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Druid, Hunter, Rogue, or Warlock.

Also introduced in the expansion is the new Draenei minion-type card. These are the game’s newest permanent minions, meaning previously existing cards with Draenei have been modified to go along with them. Demons have also been added as the Draenei flee the Burning Legion.

All told the expansion adds 145 new cards for players to use in their decks. Of course, this means a new Tavern Pass is available as well. Details are available on the Hearthstone site.
