Hi-Rez Announces Smite For PS4
Hi-Rez announced today that its free-to-play third person MOBA, SMITE, will be coming to PS4. The game is officially entering closed Alpha testing on the PS4 today, and is slated to roll into Closed Beta not long after.
For those wondering, the game will be about a month behind the PC version of the game during the Alpha and Beta phases. Once launched the developers plan to keep it as close to the PC version as possible.
Another thing of note is that players can expect PS4 exclusive skins; starting with World's Collide Odin, Kuku 4, and C4codemon Ymir. World's Collide Odin is unlocked by linking your PS4 and PC accounts. Kuku 4 is unlocked for PS Plus users and C4codemon Ymir is available as part of the PS4 Founder's Pack.
PS4 players wanting to help test the game can sign up on Hi-Rez's site. Beta will be available for both American and European regions through Sony.
