War Thunder Line Of Contact Launch

Today, Gaijin Entertainment released the “Line of Contact” content update in War Thunder. The update introduces dozens of new vehicles to the free-to-play online action military game: ground, naval, and air. Among the vehicles introduced today is the M10 Booker tank, an American light tank featuring a 105mm XM35 gun built around armor-piercing. In fact, it’s a threat to the “best protected main battle tanks”. The tank also includes a laser range finder, a thermal imager, and a panoramic sight. In-game, this tank is intended for reconnaissance and sniping.

For fans of aircraft, the update introduces an upgrade to the F/A-18C Hornet, the F/A-18E Super Hornet. This new version of the aircraft features a redesigned airframe and is the “most modern and advanced carrier-based 4++ generation fighter-attack aircraft in the US Navy”. It comes with active electronically scanned array radar, an arsenal of smart weapons, and more.

As for tanks, players will now have access to the BMPT Terminator, a specialized Russian tank support vehicle carrying two 30mm automatic cannons and an Ataka ATGM.

In addition to the update, Gaijin also opened applications for the upcoming Infantry mode closed beta test. Players can register on the game’s official site.
