ICYMI: Tactical Card Game Dfiance Postpones Release Date
But a pre-season version can be played in browsers.
You might remember that the tactical card game Dfiance was scheduled to launch on Steam 3 days ago, on July 21. If you knew that, you’ve probably also noticed that it didn’t happen. As it turns out, the launch was delayed until August 4, following some discussions between the devs.
Luckily for interested players, the devs came up with a short-term solution to tide them over until the game is ready to be released on Valve’s platform. A pre-season version is available to play in browsers. This allows them to test features before they even hit Steam. Of course, the current demo version remains available to play on Steam until the game launches.
For those wondering what the delay is for, the developers have decided to post about the changes between now and the launch date on the Steam page. The first – and it seems only, so far – of these covers changes coming to Ranked Seasons.
