Players Can Now Check Out The First Descendant’s Upcoming Breakthrough Update With The Official Demo

Prior to the official release of the upcoming “Breakthrough” update in The First Descendant, Nexon is offering players a chance to try out some of it via a demo. The demo is already available and grants players of the shooter access to the new Axion Plains, where all the update’s action is set to take place. Players can also check out the new Descendant, Nell.

Taking part in the demo won’t only get players hands-on time with the new content, but it also offers some special rewards. Among these are a Spoils Box and a Crystallization Catalyst. That said, those wanting these items will need to play the demo ASAP. For those who want even more goodies, there are also rewards for filling out a post-demo survey after August 13. In addition, a First Look Demo Event will be held for new and returning players.

As for when the update will launch, mark your calendars for August 7. In addition to the new area and Descendant, it will also introduce a Hover Bike, the Colossus Field Raid, and a Nier: Automata crossover.
