Dfiance, a new free-to-play card game from an indie studio of the same name Dfiance, is now officially available on PC via Steam.

Set in a richly imagined fantasy world, it pits players against each other in fast-paced battles across multi-lane battlefields. You’ll build custom decks, deploy powerful units, and execute game-changing combos — all while adapting to your opponent’s tactics in real time. Dfiance puts a strong emphasis on formation control and smart decision-making, allowing for a wide range of viable strategies, from early-game aggression to patient, long-term setups.

There are no pay-to-win elements, according to the developers; players earn rewards through skillful play, not spending. Competitive modes include ranked PvP, weekend tournaments, themed challenges, and private lobbies for friendly duels. And for those looking to improve, a built-in Spectate Mode allows you to watch high-level matches and learn from the best.

Visually, Dfiance features crisp, detailed animations and flashy effects that bring each card and unit to life while maintaining tactical clarity. The game is resigned to reward strategic thinking and clever timing rather than luck or deep pockets.
