KartRider: Drift Decides To Forgo A Mid-Season Patch For Season 5
They will be focusing on “big changes” instead.
If you were hoping for the drop of a mid-season patch for Season 5 in KartRider: Drift, you’re going to be disappointed. A recent post from Game Director Jaewoo Seo revealed that rather than working on a mid-season update, the racing game’s dev team has decided to focus on “big changes” coming in 2024.
The post reveals that the team has regrets about the past year and is working to improve things – with an eye toward what it is that players enjoy about KartRider games. It also promises a look at what they have planned via content “sneak peeks” as they work on the update.
In better news, the team is hosting a year-end login event beginning December 29 or 30, depending on your time zone. The event will run for three days, during which time players can log into KartRider: Drift and pick up some cute prizes via the events menu. Each day, players will get a different balloon – a puppy, a mini hot air balloon, and a halo.
There’s also another event that’s already underway and running through January 10 or 11 – again, based on your time zone. This event will reward players with various goodies for their participation in a new Mission Point event. Details on both of these events are available on the game’s site.
