Guild Wars 2 Episode 1

Today, NCSOFT and ArenaNet announced that Living World Season 1 is returning as a free episode for players to relive or finally experience after missing it way back in the beginning years of Guild Wars 2. Also, this trend will continue throughout 2022, eventually completing the Elder Dragon Saga.

Season 1 will debut as a series of story-based episodes in which old and new players can see the origins of long-standing characters like Rox and Braham. There's also a list of unique achievements to earn which will remain exclusive to Season 1. Additionally, the famed villain arc of Scarlet Briar, and her plans for Lion's Arch, returns to wreak havoc once again. After countless requests for an opportunity to peak into the events of Living World Season 1, the day has finally come.

Anyone who owns the core Guild Wars 2 game, including free-to-play accounts, will have access to the content as soon as they log in. With content that is from years ago, you might be wondering if it'll mesh well with future Living World updates and thankfully the developers implemented a new form that "more closely [aligns] with the format of the rest of Living World." As the starting mark that eventually culminates an impressive roster of characters and wraps up story elements in the latest End of Dragons expansion, now is the time to jump in and absorb the story before more updates come out across 2022.

Good for f2p players who are new to game. And good way how to use older content as new, at least for f2p players
