Lost Ark Rimia Besieged

September 2025’s Eye on Arkesia dives into what’s coming to Lost Ark with the upcoming “Rimia Besieged” update for the free-to-play MMORPG on September 17.

The patch introduces a nine-week event in which Abyssal beasts have invaded Sheay, threatening to consume Crimea in darkness. Players will be able to tackle this threat through two primary pieces of content: Assault Crimson Abyss, a one-to-four-player dungeon featuring Narhash, and Assault Flame of Destruction, an eight-player endgame raid featuring Tarol. Both are available in normal and hard modes and are accessible via CHA or the Kazaros War Board after completing the prerequisite quests. Completing these activities rewards special event currency exchangeable for unique rewards, while defeating Tarol on hard mode grants a Dawn Defender Chest with valuable items like a random ancient engraving pouch.

This update also debuts two new systems. The Combat Analyzer tracks players’ battle performance across raids and dungeons, providing real-time feedback with metrics like skill damage breakdowns, healing and buff tracking, and a detailed timeline view to help players improve. And the new Honor System allows players to recognize exceptional teammates, raising their “honor grade,” which appears on their character info and can earn them a spot in the Hall of Honor loading screen showcase.

The video also teases Halloween skins releasing between September and October, and hints at the next road map reveal coming in early October. That update will include details on the North America East and West server merge and the Cazaros raid.
