MultiVersus Welcomes Bruiser-Styled Black Adam To Roster With Gauntlet-Based Arcade Game Mode
The new trailer showcases many of his thunderous attacks and viability.
After a recent delay from Warner Bros. and Play First Games, MultiVersus finally welcomes DC's Black Adam to its roster as part of Season 1 with a gauntlet-based Arcade Mode. Players can watch Black Adam's gameplay from the latest trailer released that showcases a range of his thunder and lightning attacks.
Black Adam classifies as a Bruiser "with a moveset that leverages his superpowers derived from the ancient Egyptian Gods." The gameplay trailer exhibits his ability to shock opponents, aerial combat capabilities while flying, and electromagnetic forcefield to block enemy projectiles. Black Adam comes out the gate with all the standard elements of his costume in a new MultiVersus-like coat of paint, but players can gain a Comic Classic Black Adam character variant from the in-game store to match his original look.
The latest update also brings the Arcade Mode to MultiVersus. The game mode features three difficulty levels where players will fight rounds of A.I. controlled enemies to complete unique quests and earn rewards. The neat thing about the addition is that players can go solo or with friends. The devs aim to add more features to Arcade Mode "in the near future" adding a "Silly Queue" to play in those modes.
You can learn more about the patch from the official notes on the MultiVersus website.
