NCSoft Reveals Horizon MMORPG At G-Star
Horizon Steel Frontiers is a cross-platform game for mobile devices and PC.

It’s been a bit since we last thought about the Horizon MMORPG. In fact, the last time we wrote about it, there was speculation that the whole project had been canceled. It turns out that that speculation was incorrect, as NCSoft revealed Horizon Steel Frontiers at the Korean game conference G-Star. The project is a collaboration with Guerrilla, which shouldn’t be surprising, as that is the company behind the Horizon franchise.
As seems appropriate for the Horizon universe, Horizon Steel Frontiers is a survival adventure game set in the Deadlands. Players of the original series should be pretty familiar with the combat, which uses Horizon’s hunting action. Only now they’ll be able to take on large-scale raids with other players.
Based on what we see MMORPG Official Site" href="https://hsf.plaync.com/en-us/conts/teaser#main" target="_blank" rel="noopener">on the website, it appears the game will have fairly robust character customization, which should be surprising for something coming from NCSoft.
During their presentation, the devs shared an eleven-minute announcement video and a three-minute gameplay trailer. Both are available to view below.
