Neverwinter Q&A

Recently, Cryptic hosted another "The Driftwood Tavern Presents" stream in which Neverwinter’s Executive Producer, Brett Norton, answered player questions about the game’s future. The stream also offered players a roadmap of development plans through July 2024. It covered module releases – 3 (typically medium) drops each year as well as annual releases and their “blocks”. The roadmap provides a guideline on what players can expect in the Rothe Valley and Northdark Reaches content, as well as modules 25 through 29, and events.

As for the Q&A portion, it answered questions as to whether they’ll be continuing to drop expansions at the same time on all platforms – yes, whether or not the Demogorgon will return – also yes, and the difficulty level of master trials and master dungeons. The general gist on that last one is that they’re hoping to have something for everyone with a mix of normal and master versions. They’re hoping to get dedicated guild-focused groups to work together to complete master trials, but they also want content that can be completed by most players.

There are a lot of other questions that were answered during the stream as well. The stream can be viewed below. However, if you’re more of a reading type, Cryptic also provided the Q&A in text on the game’s site.
