The Neverwinter Squish To Level 20 And Sweet Singing Bards Is Almost Upon Us, Enjoy The Trailer
Finally, bards are about to be available in Neverwinter as the game's latest class. Those who choose to play these bards, pulled from the 5th edition D&D, will be able to infuse their weapons with magic and use music in a variety of ways to support their friends. The Bard features two Paragon Paths: Songblade or ranged-casting Minstrel, giving players the option to get in close or stay as far away as possible.
This new class is part of the Jewel of the North module, which implements several changes intended to improve how players access the game's content. These changes include things like streamlining the leveling system, dropping the level cap from 80 to 20. This will be a big boon to new players (or players rolling alts) as it means that they will be able to access epic-level content within 10-12 hours of playtime. Players who are already mid-way through leveling will receive an automatic boost to 20 when the module drops. In addition, all existing players will be able to claim a new gear pack via the Rewards Claim Agent.
