Palia Celebrates Halloween By Giving Players A Gooey New Friend
Because we all want a pet slime.
Palia's latest update, "Fall Fantasy: The Spiritfest Spectacle", has arrived, bringing Halloween festivities and Fall-themed features to the cozy MMORPG. Among other things, the update introduces a new, adorable friend for players, the flower-crowned Goobi. It's a bit like if you crossed a slime with a lunatender. In reality, it's hydroflow mixed with pondscum. The result is very cute, as you'd expect of Palia. Goobies require a ranching level of 10 to acquire.
The update also introduces multiplayer ranching to the game. Now, friends can visit each other's ranches and help tend the animals. Experience gained from this co-op ranching is shared between both parties, so everyone wins. Players can now also organize their pens and decide where each pet belongs.
As it is October, the Spooky Moon Store is back in business. Players can pick up pumpkins, candles, cauldron's and a variety of other items themed for the holidays. At the same time, they can pick up Spiritfest quests from the bulletin board and earn related rewards. A rundown of the new items available to players can be found in the patch notes on the Palia site.
