Path Of Exile's Huge Fall Of Oriath Expansion Goes Live Aug. 4
The Fall of Oriath is almost upon us! Grinding Gear Games' super-big expansion for Path of Exile will go live on PC Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. PDT (4 p.m. EDT) and send players back to where they were exiled from in the first place.
Act V will be completely new and take players to Oriath, where a rebellion against the ruling party is in full swing. After that come Acts VI through X, which repurpose the areas used in Acts I-V, but with new challenges. In all, six "new" acts are coming to the game, which should keep players occupied for quite some time.
The new content debuts alongside the Pantheon system, which grants players additional powers. All they have to do to claim them is bump off a few gods. Easy, right?
An Xbox launch of Fall of Oriath is planned for later this year. For lots more on this massive update, be sure to check out our lengthy preview from earlier this year.
