Palia Beta Test Announcement

Last week, Singularity Six held the very first stress test for its upcoming cozy MMO Palia. According to a recent Discord post, this test was pretty successful by developer standards. Those trying to play probably didn’t feel exactly the same about it, since a lot of people couldn’t get in. But, the point for the devs was to pinpoint areas that needed work and the test achieved that, so now they’re ready to announce the timeline for the game’s PC beta testing.

The game will enter closed beta on August 2, to be followed by open beta on August 10 – if everything goes well. Before that, the devs have planned a second stress test. This test will take place July 25, and like the last one will be under NDA. Interested players can sign up via the game’s site. The devs will be welcoming back everyone who took part in the first test as well as “many more new testers”. The space will still be limited, however, so they suggest players create their beta account now.

Once beta testing begins, players no longer have to worry about account wipes. The NDA will also drop with closed beta. As would be expected, everyone can log in and play during the open beta period.

In addition to the beta announcements, the Palia team also announced a Refer a Friend Program. Players with Palia accounts can log into their account, get a referral link and share it with their friends. Once five people have used the link to sign up, the player will have earned special rewards. Their friends will get something, too.

Finally, don't miss a livestream from the team showing off the game next week on the 18th.
