Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Finally Have A New Zone Now That Retem Is Here
This is the biggest content update since launch.
December 15th has arrived and with it the promised content update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. The largest update in the game since it launched, Sandstorm Requiem was first teased over a month ago during a NGS Headline stream. During the stream, they announced a level cap increase and new skills for all classes as well as a title system. In the next NGS Headline, Sega highlighted the new desert-like zone, three new elemental techniques, and large-scale interruptive events that will take place on all ships. The new update continues the game’s story with a new chapter, taking players to the desert city of Retem where they will help their fellow ARKS fight new enemies. These include three new DOLLS.
Following today’s update, players can also look forward to the game’s holiday event. On December 22, Christmas kicks off in Central City with decorations, a new AC Scratch Ticket filled with Christmas-themed outfits, wintery emotes, and more. Players will also want to keep an eye out for Mischief Symbols hidden in the city.
