PSO2: New Genesis Kicks Off New Year '23 Event Starring Adorable Rappys And Winter-Themed Central City
The update comes with new Scratch Tickets, Field Race courses, content updates, and more.
Following the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Headline stream last week, SEGA has kicked off the game's New Year '23 event starring adorable Rappys and winter-themed Central City.
Like past seasonal events, players can gather points to exchange for various cosmetics and items from an NPC in Central City. Fans can also defeat marked Dread Enemies that can spawn an active Rappy Spot. There, players could face Nord Rappys and a much bigger, cute fluffy furball wearing a crown called Nord Emperappy for goodies.
A January 2023 update was launched alongside the event, too. Players can enjoy the new Stage 1 North Aelio and North Retem Board Field Race courses, an 8-player cannonball quest in South Retem, AC Scratch Tickets mixed with Japanese and streetwear styles, and a host of updates to combat content.
