Pumpkin Pete says Happy Halloween!
Pumpkin Pete's Halloween Event kicks off today in RuneScape and runs until November 5. Players are tasked with helping him grow a new pumpkin head infused with Necromantic energy. They can achieve this by smashing pumpkins earned during gameplay or at communal Pumpkin Parties. The event offers rewards like Pumpkin Masks, Ensouled Pumpkin Masks, and Orange Hallowe'en Masks. Players can also unlock new cosmetic ability scrolls, overhead emotes, and thematic cosmetics for their in-game Fort.
One of the highlights of the event is the introduction of Sweet Enhancers, which offer temporary skill buffs or aid players in smashing pumpkins. These treats are obtained by smashing pumpkins and provide bonuses like increased Slayer experience and improved bone and ash saving chances. The event also features themed titles, such as "-o'-lantern," "Pumpkin," and " the H'oarder" — which can be earned through different sources.
Additionally, the Grim Harvest promotion returns, featuring the Grim Pumpkin as a consumable reward. Players can find the Grim Pumpkin while smashing pumpkins during the Halloween event, which offers a Harvest Bonus and a chance to acquire unique items like the Ensouled Pumpkin Mask.
