Quest Spells Return To Hearthstone As Part Of The Lost City Of Un’Goro Update
According to legend, the lost city lurks in the depths of the Un’Goro Crater.
A new Un’Goro-themed update does more than simply add dinosaurs to Hearthstone. Titled “The Lost City of Un’Goro”, the new update sees the explorer Loh trying to find the titular city. Of course, to help with the excursion, the update will introduce 145 new cards. These include new Legendary Quest cards for each class, cards with familiar faces, cards that represent iconic stories from the Crater, and six Map cards – because maps are necessary when you’re looking for lost cities.
As noted above, Quest spells are making a return to the F2P card game in this update. These are 1-cost spells that will reward players for completing the quest requirements. A new Keyword is being introduced as well. Cards with the “Kindred” Keyword will receive bonuses if played with a card of the same minion type or spell school.
The Lost City of Un’Goro will drop in Hearthstone on July 8. As you might expect, pre-purchasing is already open. Players can purchase a Mega Bundle with 80 Lost City of Un’Goro Packs or a regular bundle with 60 packs. Or, they can buy both to unlock the Sequence Bundle. The full rundown on the various bundles can be found on the Hearthstone site.
