Riot Is Working On A New Game And Valorant Game Director Joe Ziegler Will Be Working On It
His current position is being taken over by Andy Ho.
Here’s some interesting news to start out the day with. It’s probably pretty good news too if you’re someone who’s looking for a new game from Riot. It turns out that Joe Ziegler, game director of Valorant, is leaving his post on the team. That’s not to say he’s leaving Riot. Rather, he’ll be “starting something new”. This bit of news dropped recently, in a letter posted on the Valorant site.
Of course, at this point, we have no idea what the “something new” game will be. Nor do we know how long it will be until we know. All the info we’ve been provided is a wink and “secrets…”. Of course, it probably wouldn’t be a stretch to think it might be something else in the Runeterra universe, but who knows?
As for Ziegler’s position on the Valorant team, it’s already been filled. Andy Ho will be taking over as game director.
