RuneScape: The First 20 Years — An Illustrated History Book Coming This Fall
RuneScape turns 20 years old this year, and Jagex's latest commemoration of that milestone is the announcement of a companion tome to the game, published by Dark Horse Books.
RuneScape: The First 20 Years — An Illustrated History will be available this fall, showcasing the history and art of Gielinor with hundreds of full-color illustrations, spanning two decades of the game's history. It will also present exclusive interviews with the designers and developers of RuneScape and Old School RuneScape, getting their insights into the creation of one of the oldest and most successful MMORPGs of all time.
The book comes in two editions. There's a standard version that will arrive in stores on October 5 and retail for $39.99; you can pre-order now through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. There will also be a Deluxe Edition that includes a special variant cover, card slipcase, hard backed folio containing art prints, gold-edged pages and page marker. That one goes for $99.99 and can only be found on the RuneScape Merch Store.
