Soulframe Preludes 7 Begins With An Account Reset, But Combat's Received A Slew Of Changes
That includes weapon ranking.
As part of the preparation for Soulframe’s Prelude 7, Digital Extremes announced in the latest Soulshorts video that they would be doing an account reset. The devs gave a few reasons for this, including the fact that some of the MMO's features have been reworked. A downside of this is that players will have to rank up their weapons again. However, they’ve added five new weapons, so there’s something for players to look forward to there.
Ranking weapons will offer players a skill point for every rank achieved. These points are used on weapon types, so if a point is set for a certain type of sword, it will carry over to all swords.
A good portion of the Soulshorts video addresses changes made to the game’s combat. This includes movement, cooldowns, a stagger system, and more. There’s also an enchanted butterfly bow.
